Type of a scam Tech Support

Almost paid over $7000 to a scammer pretending to be "Geek Advisors" for computer security service. After I read bad reviews on google about this fake tech support company steals money and tries to pass themselves off as a legitimate business, I called my bank to issue a stop payment on the check.

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

initially, several years ago, they hacked into my computer (apple) and tried to sell me security for my computer. Fortunately, I did not give them any money or credit card information, but they did get my email and phone numbers for myself and my husband. They were very convincing!! I had to call Apple to undue the damage. Ever since then, (it’s been 3 – 4 years ago) we both get annoying phone calls about our security. The nerve! After hacking the computer and then still say they helped us with our security!! NOW, they are calling, texting, and emailing us saying that we will be billed $6,400.00 automatically to continue our security for five more years! I finally called back and told them to cancel our service, and they are still bothering us. Do not get involved with these professional scammers!
