Type of a scam Online Purchase

The GarageSale Store advertised a portable airconditioner in "good condition" and that "works great". I went to the store to see the airconditioner in person. I plugged it in the wall. The store attendant named "Rhema" reiterated that the product works well but needs time for the motor to run first. Online resources suggest that the airconditoner needs to run for a few hours before it begins to work. Rhema assured me that it "works great" after being plugged in for that time. I purchased the product. I plugged the air conditioner for two days and it did not cool the room. When I called to ask for my money back, Rhema said that the store does not accept returns or provide credit. I repeatedly told her that the product does not work. Only then, did she offer store credit. However, upon purchasing the product, I was told that I would be able to return it. That is not the case. The business illegally practiced false advertising and a fraudulent claim.
