Type of a scam Travel/Vacations

I believe this is a scam as I received the same notification reported previously on 10/4/18 relating to the Puerto Pahio Private Residence Club. I was never aware of any class action suite nor did I ever join same. This would have been handled by a law firm, not a marketing company. Also, several months ago I was contacted by another reality company claiming they wanted to buy this same timeshare at a substantial gain which I know is a pipe dream. All I had to do was to pay a transfer fee in advance in order to receive the money. I had informed them that I was formally a Treasury administrator for a large international company and never came across any requirements like this. They kept insisting that I check their tax I.D. which would verify the legitimacy of their company. I told them to just deduct the fee from my proceeds and send me the balance. After several months they finally stopped bothering me. I’m confident that these 2 entities are the same scam artists.
