Total money lost $150

Type of a scam Tech Support

I received a call 9-15-17 from a person named John who told me my computer had a virus. He said he could fix for $150.00. I gave him my debit #. There was nothing wrong with my computer, it was a scam!!! I am 71 yrs. old, widow and I live on a social security pension!!! I tried calling 3 different phone #’s and no one answers!! I have called all 3 numbers a dozen times each! John did call and tell me that he was trying to reimburse me for 150.00. I went into the hospital a few weeks after the scam for some health issues and was there for 18 days. I contacted my bank and explained the situation. The bank mgr. told me I had a 15 day period to file a scam! I had no idea and I was in the hospital!!! I have contacted Fort Financial Credit Union corporate office and the director would not return my calls… very rude and unprofessional of him and the local bank in Corinth, Ms. would not assist me!!! My sister tried to help me. I told corporate that I could get a copy of hospital records showing that I was there! This is so wrong! $150 is a lot of money to me since I live on a fixed income.
