Type of a scam Online Purchase

Went online to purchase an out of state Minnesota fishing license and thought I had reached the official MN DNR site. They actually had my personal information as they filled in spaces from my previous purchases with correct information so it looked legit. I used my American Express and was charged $67.00. Upon receiving an email confirmation of my purchase I realized it was a scam and contacted American Express to stop payment but it was too late. Never received a license. I continue to get emails with links asking for more information to "complete the purchase."

This is a huge scam! Can’t believe I fell for it.

It’s in Spain! The website has this notice on it:

Type of a scam Other

I wanted to buy a state fishing license online. I went to this site and they charged me $47- for what I thought was my license. However, they just assist in obtaining a license. After I paid I was then directed to another page where they requested more detailed information, including my social security number, date of birth and other personal information not required for my fishing license. I requested a refund and they refused, saying it was not their policy to give refunds.

Type of a scam Counterfeit Product

The website is intentionally misleading, and suggests you are purchasing a fishing license, when in reality you are paying for their "services" in helping you get a fishing license. Once you have purchased your "license application," they email you requesting additional information and additional payment. Highly concerned, since I gave them my personal information.

Type of a scam Online Purchase

I was looking to purchase a fishing license and was directed to this site. I put in all the information and payment to receive my license and received emails requesting more information and more money. After money was paid they stop correspondence and the phone is a recording that is never responded to. My credit card was charged with no services rendered and my personal information is at risk. The site is remarkably similar to another called fishinglicense.org which already has several complaints.
