Type of a scam Debt Collections

A company who says they are out of California has been calling me and harassing me and my mother; they have contacted my ex-boyfriend as well. They say they are going to serve me a warrant, they threaten that money I owe to U.S Bank is going to be garnished from my wages, and they say if I do not pay right away, the papers to start legal proceedings are on the prosecutor’s desk and they are going in front of the judge in one hour. I did owe U.S Bank some money about 7 years ago, but I paid it off and it is no longer on my credit report.
