Was notified by a person I now that she just received a certificate check & that she was picked to receive money from a federal grant and saw my name and send me the information.Since I was not available to apply at that moment I was asked if she could send the information for me and I okay it. The message asked to fill out some information and they would get back to me and let me know what amount I would receive and all I had to pay was delivery fee and state taxes since this was a grant that I did not have to pay back. This went on for several days and when I received and message that I had to pay over $2,000.00 and to reply for further information how to make my payment I decided to call this friend and find out if she had to pay any money and she told me she never heard about this federal grand and was upset that someone on facebook messenger was using her name that is when I decided ti report this as a scam.
