The Guys name is Giacomo Urso which checks out. He is on LinkedIn and actually works with the company. The red flag was the HR Lady and this guy had a gmail account not a company email.

This company contacted me via email and text through a job website WorkinTexas.org, which is from a job website for military, active duty and spouses and retirees. After the initial interview, I was offered a job as a data entry clerk to start working from home until their office in El Paso is operational on May 25, 2020. After several text each morning at 8:00 A.M., I received a Cashiers Check in the amount of$4,892.53. I was told this was to purchase a laptop and the required software to work from home. I was also instructed to deposit the check into my account, take a picture of the receipt, blacking out my bank information, and scan it to her (Anatasia Titova), withdrawing $310 for myself as a sign on bonus. That sent my flag up, so I told her that due to COVID19, I needed to make an appointment at the bank to deposit this large amount. She went for it. I waited 24 hours, and on Friday morning, I sent her a text stating that I was unable to deposit the check, that the bank didn’t recognize the company and warned me of possible fraud. I asked could she send money orders instead of if they could set the equipment, that I was mailing the check back to the address on the envelope( Palmer Staffing Inc., 1211 Connecticut Ave NW, Suite #302, Wshington, D.C. 20036) she never responded.
