I was having trouble with my FB. Central Illinois is under high winds advisory for today. I figured it had something to do with the weather. I tried to find a FB phone number to call and see if I could find out what the problem was. I googled it and found a number. So I called. Well, someone on the other end said that someone from NC was messing with my phone. This gentleman gave me his name as Eric Williams a Supervisor at Facebook Headquarters, went into this big talk about the problem and how to solve it. Which involved going to get a googleplaycard for $50 to call him back at the above number and give him the number off the back of the card. So I played along and said okay. Once I got off the phone I blocked the number and the ScamPulse.com and they suggested I go to the web sight and make you aware of this scam.

I received a private message informing me that my name had been one of the ten selected names in a Facebook promo that was going on this month. She then wanted information to verify my identity.
