Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

My Mom received an email (see attached), we called to cancel the said order. She was told that someone hacked into her computer and to allow them access remotely to computer to fix it (which Mom did after I left) where upon they then charged her $1749.00 for ENIGMA Tech single sweep software which apparently will "protect" her computer for 5 years. I discovered that she wrote them a check (after reviewing her bank statement), check was cashed on 7/10/18. I attempted to call this company to cancel this service and request a refund as outline to do so on the Invoice (I have a copy of that as well). They were rude and refused to honor request for a refund.
