Type of a scam Family/Friend Emergency

A man identifying himself as an EMS worker called me to say I was listed in the phone as an emergency contact for someone in a traffic accident. He said 2 males and one female were involved. He asked me my name. I refused to give it and asked his name. He identified himself as Bryan Davis and again asked my name. I asked him to verify who he is and he gave me license number 13061 and again asked my name. I asked what state and he said New Mexico and again asked my name. At this point, I knew it was a scam since I’m not in New Mexico and don’t know anyone there that would use my information for an emergency contact. He grew more impatient continually asking my name and telling me he couldn’t tell me anything due to HIPPA. I asked what company he worked for and he refused to answer, asking for my name again. When I said you won’t get any information from me until I verify who you are, he grew irate, called me names, threatened me that my loved ones were dying, and eventually hung up on me.
