I ordered 5 facemasks – lovely cat designs. I did receive the masks but they were upside down – the cats are upside down as the nose shape is on the bottom of the mask. I am writing to Jhon Doe (John Doe – haha) asking for my money back. I doubt I will get it but I will try since I did receive the product I ordered. Adding a photo of one of the masks.

They called I asked to verify info, they could not verify where I purchased the vehicle. They claimed my warranty expired and asked me to renew for 142 dollars a month which would be a immediate payment. They hung up when they got it wrong. I called back and it was a number that was no longer in service. In the background of the call were many many voices all scamming other people. It sounded like an office with cubicles

My personal cell a (954) Area code in Broward County FL is being used by bank/credit card scammers to make calls to consumers. I was notified by someone who made a call back to my cell and let my know my number was being used. I also have had "local" numbers with (954) Area code to call me asking for my personal information claiming they can help reduce my Percentage on my cards.

I posted an item on OfferUp and was asked to reply to 505-257-1326 if it was still available. The person said they wanted it and would send a certified check to me which would also cover a shipping fee. I received the check, contacted the bank upon which it was drawn, and was told that it was a fraudulent check. The remitter’s name on the check is Charlotte Smith, the name and return address on the priority mail envelope in which the check was sent is Matthew Hill, 9700 Goethe Road, Sacramento, CA 95827 (I looked up this address and it is for the California Highway Patrol).

Someone I know very well sent me this and later I found out he was hacked. It started off by him saying hello and waving and this is the message I received: "II was just wondering if you have heard about what has been going on few days ago?" I said " About who?" They said " Did you not hear that the United States Federal government grant empowerment program have been helping the old, poor, retired, disabled, young and people who are in need of financial aid." I said "No." They said, " I’m so happy I got $150,000.00 from the department of health and human service delivered to me at my doorstep by the ups delivery men. Have you gotten any help from them too?" I said, "No." They said "Do you also wanna apply so that I can forward your name to the agent I contacted before I got help from them, he will tell you what to do and how to apply okay and I promise you will get help from them too?" I said,"K." They said, " I just did forwarded your name to the agent right now and he told me he just sent you a friend request, is that true?" I said, "Call me." That said "I would have loved to call you but i was told by the ups delivery men monitoring team to switch off my call line for the safety of my life and I love it like that because I don’t

want people to come here begging" for money. Then I blocked them.

I just received a voicemail from 631-989-3132 notifying me of "intentional fraud". I called the number back that the recording listed (noted below), and someone did answer the phone. I hung up – I was only interested in getting a company name and they didn’t give one.

The beginning of this voicemail was cut off, so I couldn’t catch who was calling but the recorded voicemail said: "….. calling you regarding this issue, but we never got a response from your end, so it’s considered and intentional fraud and lawsuit has been filed in your name by the United States government. You may call our department number 631-983-3132."

I was expecting a call from a service call when the phone rang. A cheery female voice said "Can you hear me?" Unfortunately, I answered "Yes" as I was thinking it was the service technician having someone call me. Immediately I realized it was a scam, and I hung up. Then I called back to see if a person answered, and it was a recorded call which identified themselves as a sweepstakes. I added the phone number the call originated from {(636)271-4536 in Pacific MO} to the section of the Do Not Call Registry that tracks scams.

I fell for it, the "Can you hear me ok" scam. They said they were offering me a free trip to Disneyland. Phone number on caller ID was from local area code (520 – Sierra Vista, AZ). Phone number was 515-4362. I hung up when he stated "free trip to Disneyland".

What is their true intent and what can I do to prevent any future damage?
