Today I received a telephone call at approximately 11:30 AM from someone named Cindy, claiming to be from DirecTV. She asked me if I was satisfied as a DirecTV customer and I said yes. Cindy then asked me how many TVs I had and how many receivers I had. I did not tell her the number but stated I have as many as I’ve always had. Cindy wanted me to know about paying my bill and wanted me to give her my account information so my bill would be on automatic pay,. I said no thank you as I paid a different way and was not interested. Cindy did not know that I had already talked to DirecTV last week and went over payments, etc. I stated everything is fine. She said have a nice day. After I hung up I talked to DirecTV and they took my information. DirecTV stated that they would have not made this kind of call.
