Type of a scam Online Purchase

I contacted this website in efforts to purchase a Tea cup Shih Tzu puppy online that was promised to be shipped to me within 24 hours of receipt of $600.

I continued to receive emails from the seller, they were rather lengthy explaining the temperament of the dogs, the special brand of food they recommended, etc etc.

I tried to call the phone number provided on the website and continued to receive an automatic message that the Google subscriber I was trying to reach was unavailable.

Finally this morning, I asked the seller to call me. He finally did, he had a very thick Nigerian accent and I asked that he Face Time me with the dog. He became very angry and stated that if I did not trust him and feel comfortable with the situation, then he did not need to send a puppy to my home.

I began to do some online research and while I did not find anything specific to this site, there were many consumer reports of similar occurrences where the public was scammed and sent money to similar vendors only to be given a run around with no pet delivered to them and they lost the money.

Thank you

Type of a scam Online Purchase

I contacted this breeder in Austin, Texas, about buying a teacup Shih Tzu. When I phoned the man he spoke with a very heavy middle eastern accent. I struggled to understand him. They told me that the puppies were half price because they where going on a biblical mission in TWO months and wants all puppies in their forever homes. I sent the money thru Moneygram…the man represented himself as Darnell Smith and his wfe is Alicia Smith. He calls me later in the evening, to tell me there is a problem with my transaction and for me to please call Moneygram to have them release the funds. He insinuated that I didn’t fill out the form correctly, causing the issues. Moneygram was on it…they asked many questions and determined that I was about to be a victim of a "scam". They would NOT let the transaction go thru and refunded all my money. BUYER BEWARE! Mr. Smith was very upset, so I am sure that the story will change, but I haven’t heard from him yet. As I read these SCAM stories in the BBB, there is a story very similar to mine and the person lost money. Now, Mr. D. Smith wants me to send the money by another means. NOT ME and I hope not you.
