Eddie Davis posted advertisements via craigslist, facebook, and his website offering to make furniture for customers. After negotiating a price, I provided a deposit for various pieces I wanted made and placed the order in October 2015. Mr. Davis provided a delivery date within 6 weeks. After 6 weeks, I heard nothing. My husband and I attempted to contact Mr. Davis via phone, email, and his facebook page. By December, Mr. Davis stopped answering his phone and responding to emails. Only when my husband posted public inquiries on Mr. Davis’ facebook page would he resurface and agree to deliver the furniture the following weekend. After 3 more months of playing this game with no delivery, we have initiated the process to attempt to recover our deposit. No furniture was ever delivered and Mr. Davis refuses to refund our deposit.
