There was an ad for a work from home job posted on Facebook Messenger by ‘Wayne Lott", he said I needed to download Google Hangouts, which I thought was weird, he then told me many online businesses use these type of interviews. I contacted the "interviewer" Mr. John, I was on the chat with him for about two hours, he asked me about 20 detailed questions. He asked me if I had a printer, scanner, fax machine, I said no. He told me the company would send me an HP Laptop and I would need to get the software from their vendor, and then he asked me if I had a credit card, I had said yes. He then went n and told me about the benefits of the company and then asked me for a copy of my license in case I tried to sell all the software and laptop to a third party they would contact the police and I would be arrested. I am upset I gave them a copy of my license, I did not give him my credit card. I also filed an IC3 report with the FBI and the FTC, and my local Sheriff office also contacted my bank just in case they try to do anything. I really thought it was a real interview, they were very convincing, unfortunately!

I posted for a 3rd shift data entry and a woman contacted me and gave me a website to contact. I did this and went through an online interview and then they started asking for all kinds of personal information and then a bank account. That’s when I stopped and contacted ScamPulse.com and was given the companies correct information and called them. I was informed that this is a scan and the company is already aware of it and are working on finding out who is doing this.
