Type of a scam Debt Collections

I received a phone call today that there was a law suit pending against my social security number.A very long story short, a so called ‘debt-collector’ from Credit Judgements, LLC was attempting to collect a debt that they claimed I incurred back in 2012 via a payday loan. That the amount I owed was $512 but that they would settle for $300, all I had to do was pay over the phone and I would avoid a court summons,court fees,and attorney fees.I inquired about this loan that I knew I had never taken out to which they could offer no additional info.I asked for their website, with reluctance they gave it to me (www.debtmh.com)

It was a bogus wordpress site that anyone can create.When I further questioned the man I was speaking with,he became increasingly loud,threatening and belligerent.Turns out, with a little online research it was in fact a scam.
