Type of a scam Rental

This man goes by the name of Wall Jones. He claims to be retired/active army stationed In Wisconsin working with the national guard and UNSAID. He claims he got tired of dealing with “shady” realtor agent and took the house off the market and decided to rent with possibly rent to own. He has “no contact person” in the State of Alabama and wants you to deal with his “lawyer” Bridget Anne Knepper and wire money through play pal for rental agreement and application fee. He claims once the app fee, security deposit and first months rent is wired to him, he will mail you the keys. This house is INDEED for sale by MarMac real estate. This man scammed my daughter for part of the security deposit and then refused to send keys by mail, we have since found out through MarMac real estate that this is indeed a scam and they have the keys to the property.
