I answered the phone at work and an individual who introduced themselves as court officer Cris Mcilvi said that I had a summary judgement against me in small claims court in Burlington County, NJ and needed to provide my fax number so that I could receive and send the necessary papers and money to settle the case. I said that I couldn’t provide this information and was not aware of a judgement against me. They said that I had been sued 6 months ago and need to pay. I again denied this and stated that I could not provide a fax number. I said that if this was legitimate, they would need to come with whatever papers to my workplace for me to look at. No one came.
