Convergent first contacted me by US Mail. When I didn’t respond they began calling my house on a daily basis, thank goodness for ‘caller ID’ and ‘call blocking’. I contacted Comcast and they verified that I owed them nothing and they would be looking into this as a scam.

This company has contacted me multiple times about a bogus $567.74 that I owe to PayPal, Inc. the reason I know this is a scam is because they use my previously married name (which I have not used in almost 10 years). They have followed me through 3-4 address I have lived at. My paypal balance is in the positive and I contacted paypal about this company and "Convergent" is in fact attempting to collect on a debt from me that doesn’t even exist.

I received a call from 651-404-2259 twice on 4/7/2016, when I answered, they hung up on me.

I called them back, supposedly was Convergent, a collections company. They wanted me to confirm the city and state I lived in and then proceeded to tell me that I owed $108.72 to them and asked for a credit card number.
