My mom got a text saying "You’ve agreed to receive messages from Committee to Elect Daniel Elli. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Msg&Data rates my apply. Vote early for Daniel at these locations. http://txt.hn.vuiLZT." She doesn’t know this person and doesn’t sign up for text messages like this. She forwarded it to me and I Googled the person’s name and don’t see anything about a man by that name running for any kind of local office. Seems like a phishing text to me.
