Type of a scam Charity

It’s possible that this is legitimate but I believe this may be one of those phishing phone calls where they try to get you to say "yes" and then they use the recording for unauthorized charges. Call started out with "Is this the lady of the house?" and then proceeded to thank us for a "previous donation" and asked if we would approve another donation. I said it must have been my mother. Then they asked for her name. At that point I hung up but I believe they were trying to get more info on her.
