Type of a scam Phishing

When I answered the phone, a lady said something and I didn’t quite hear her. She then said her name was Christy and asked if I could hear her ok. I said, yes. She then started rambling and I knew what happened. I hung up and called the number back. A different lady answered and seemed very surprised this happened. I was in a hurry and was expecting a call from a potential customer as I a business owner. I should have known better.
