Type of a scam Debt Collections

I keep getting calls from an organization that calls itself "Chase," that claims to be a debt collection agency that is unaffiliated with the bank. The reason I am reporting this is because they said they were collecting a debt from my doctor’s office, and they knew which office I visited. Because they had this personal information, I thought they were a valid organization until I called my doctor to verify the debt. They had no unpaid balance for me, so I now know this is a scam.
