I have been getting bids from Surveyors for a property line survey.After getting several online bids, we made an appointment with the one with the lowest bid. Something didn’t seem right so we decided to research the company that was scheduled to come out tomorrow and supposedly do the survey. We could not find anything on the internet nor on the ScamPulse.com which was listed on the company’s proposal.
Many red flags: No website, no yelp reviews, no BBB, a bid that was too good to be true, the payment to be made in cash or check, and the eagerness of the man to schedule the work to be done as soon possible.
We determined that they were a fictitious business and canceled the appointment saving ourselves hundreds of dollars just in time!
