Type of a scam Counterfeit Product

targets business owners; it is a vanity scam. they claim one award per category is issued in each town/area per year. There is no record of any prior year awards. When you view the other "testimonial" or prior customer page that validates the veracity of their business, it grasps a few well known business at random locations all over the country over the past 12 years. They say they award is already given, but you can buy the plaque and other award for additional $250. What makes it a scam is that they imply that there is form of CQ or selection process which is likely non-existant, as well as any form of registry online of any other businesses that have been selected for any "categories" for current or previous years. The awards seem only to materialize when you pay for the actual plaque or crystal table top version. They do not maintain a public database of viewable awards or any such thing as that. Pretty clever. Not illegal, but not legitimate. Just implied. If enough companies participated, it is possible they would have enough capital to develop a nationwide database of a cities businesses and research all of them etc,

but my guess is the owners would not reinvest enough necessary to grow the business to such a point.
