the site brooksus.com seems to be a fake website promising discounts of 50% on brooks running shoes. However, no other site gives anything close to this discount. Also, the sites history suggests that it was a domain that was held to just mimic other businesses that have the brooks name in it. Until Aug of this year, this site was forwarding to brooksint.com. In 2012, it was a different business site with the brooks name again.
Their payment system doesn’t work, but everything up until that works. so, i’m pretty convinced that they are just harvesting people’s credit card numbers and other information using this site. They are also advertising on search engines, so they do show up in search results.
