Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

I received an invoice in the mail and couldn’t find a manager within our dealership that had knowledge of this company or who had signed up for it. I called the company and after the second attempt, they notified me that they send invoices to dealerships as an advertising tool. However, I couldn’t find anywhere on the invoice that indicated that this was not a bill. I even received a W-9 from the company but couldn’t find anything on the company except for their own website. I’ve informed them that we want to opt-out.
