Type of a scam Rental

I came across a listing for lovely one bedroom apartment through the Facebook Marketplace. The location was in Beverly Hills,CA and the renter was asking for ***. It sounded to good to be true but I decided to send an email about the listing. A few days later I get an email back from a guy named Brett Barley, he says the rent is *** and all utilities are included. I said can I schedule a time to see this and his response was I had a viewing of the place last week and I wont have any more viewings due to living in Nevada. However I work with agents from Airbnb to oversee the rental process. Then I was asked to to give him my name number and other information that the "agent" may need from me. I was asked to give the deposit of *** before I even looked at the place and if I didn’t like it I was "sure" to get my money back. It was obvious this listing was to good to be true, especially for a place in Beverly Hills of all cities. Never give any money up front or personal information before physically going over to a location and talking to someone in person!
