Type of a scam Online Purchase

On 7/10/19 I placed an order on their website for a whitening toothpaste I found on an online ad. The website claimed 3-5 day shipping. Today is 10/01/19 and I still have no product and no confirmation that the product is even in my country. I tried contacting customer service multiple times. The initial responses from the company were generic “sorry for the inconvenience, your package is on the way” types. I requested a refund multiple times and was told my issue would be escalated instead. That was on 9/10/19. Since then I’ve heard nothing from the company and my following 3-4 emails have been completely ignored.
