Type of a scam Employment

I have been applying for jobs on lots of job sites so my resume is out there. The email said that my resume looked like I would fit for a personnel assistant to start, eventually moving into reception or customer service once the new local office was set up. I asked some questions, but got no response. I then got an email that said congratulations, you’ve been hired! My unemployment benefits do not allow me to turn down a job. They advised me that a check was coming for me to run errands with, and that an email would come with tasks to perform. I got another email today saying the check was due, and lucky me I would not have to run any errands. Just deposit it, keep some money for myself, and then more instructions would be coming. There’s no email for the company this person says they work for, that’s an email for a different company with a gmail ending. There’s no phone number until they texted me about the check today. I looked up global fin and got Global Financial Services in South Carolina. I called them, and they said they don’t know the name, and the job isn’t real. I’m off to talk to the bank now, as I definitely DON’T want these funds in my own account.
