I subscribe to People magazine. I received a bill from Atlantic Publishers in the mail with my address, name and detail on it and it was for my People subscription. I sent them $90.00. In February is received another request for payment and sent $57.00. IN April I received a final payment notice and sent $33.00. Last week I got an overdue notice from People Magazine saying I had paid $32.00 and owed $93.36. I called them and told them who and what and when I had sent payments and they said this was not them and thy were not affiliated with Atlantic Publishers. I called the number associated with Atlantic Publishers and got a long message. I left my contact information and have heard nothing. I called my bank and they are trying to stop the April payment but were unable to locate such a company and let me know it was fraudulent. .

I have ordered the Southern Living Magazine for 30 years. I received a renewal notice from Atlantic Publishing Group as new way to send my renewal payments for Southern Living. Everything looked legislate to me until I received notices on my issues of Southern Living asking me to renew before subscription expires. I called Southern Living and was told Atlantic Publishers Group is not a designated receiver for subscriptions to Southern Living! I was appalled by this Scam and feel duped by the Atlantic Group. I have reported this to our bank and filing a complaint with Attorney General. I hope this will help others! Teresa Wilson
