Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare

Kept calling offering back brace that could be covered by Medicare. Took information , thought legitimate, when arrived , had to sign for package. Contained back brace, a shoulder/Arm Abduction system, shoulder immobilizer. .Back brace has 4 IPC stickers on a tag. Called number on enclosed sheet. Got an answering service — that said the call was being recorded – if didn’t want to be recorded to hang up. Left my name and number( girlfriend called on my behalf) . Gave a man’s name that when company was googled was an owner and was in Florida. The products came from South Carolina as found on return address.

Our wishes are to stop them from billing Medicare for all this stuff . I was interested in a back brace. After this incident my family doctor warned me against such calls that just scam Medicare and said don’t fool with calls like this.
