The computer pop-up came up with a siren or loud noises. A voice said "Your computer is being attacked by malware or viruses. Don’t shut your computer down. Call this number right away for tech support. If you shut your computer off, you could lose everything." It kept repeating and would not turn off until he gave the tech guy the credit card number and charged $400. Then the "tech" took access to the computer and ran a scan. We became suspicious and shut the computer down. Best Buy found numerous malware and virus and provided a year of tech support for $200. We tried to stop the credit card, but it is still under dispute!
