Type of a scam Tech Support

I was on the computer when a big flashing thing popped up telling me to call them immediately. Sadly, I did. They offered to fix it and give me life time computer protection for $1000.00, so I wrote them a check… wrote it to Armstrong Media. After that they continued to call, and they started asking for iTunes giftcard codes. For some reason I did what they asked, I bought gift cards and gave them the codes, then they said they didn’t work so I bought some more and gave them the codes again. They once more said they didn’t work and that I needed to buy more, but I hung up and realized how suspicious it was. I spoke to Jayden Blake first, saying he was my service technician. I also spoke to Roger, and he gave me case ID: 0pch111855. Then Hazel, who was with billing, and then Elvis with financing. Lastly was a Joe Thompson with ext. 113.
