It started about two months ago (February 2017). I received a call from Terry Davis with AMG Consumer Protection from 312-286-6494 and he said they were doing the credit companies a favor because the government was going to sue them because they were overcharging interest. They were supposed to lower my interest rates and lower my debt on my credit card. He said it would take about two weeks and they were going to notify me when they were going to do this, so I wrote this check for $5475.00 they were going to put in escrow until the suit happened. They were supposed to get in touch with me, but they cashed the check on March 10, 2017. I gave them my credit card information over the phone and they still haven’t lowered my interest rates as of today 4-18-17.
