During the past year or so, we have received hundreds of robo calls from various numbers that, if we wait for the caller to connect, offer a security system from American Security Systems. A Google search for a BBB report shows that the company is no longer in business. If selling a system by a company that is no longer in business isn’t a scam, I don’t know what is. In addition, when we ask to either be taken off their call list or to speak to a supervisor, the call is disconnected. The calls are incessant, several on two phones every day. This needs to stop. We plan to report this company to the Office of Consumer Protection next.
