Type of a scam Government Grant
A person with an Indian accent asks for the current owner of the phone number. Without giving my name, they tell me that they are from the American government department and that they are not scammers (they specifically said that) and that they have a free grant to give me. I ask why the US government would be outsourcing to India and they tell me to go [censored] myself and hang up. I have received this call many times and when I ask to be put on the do not call list, they tell me I will receive this call over and over until I take the grant.
