Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I was looking for a debt consolidation loan when I received his email. I thought it was from a trusted site but I was wrong. As the emails progressed I noticed broken English, wrong wording and grammar. Big sign of non-professionalism. An example is given below. I received a phone call from the number I recognized in the email and out of curiosity decided to answer it. He was foreign and I couldn’t understand a word he said. He had a very thick accent and told me his name was David Wayne. There was no way his name was David Wayne and I told him so. He hung up. I looked up the company name at the Secretary of State office in California which is the address on the site and this company was dissolved in 2005.
A copy of the email:
"We appreciate your swift response to your update mail.
I apologizes for delay in response.
We have received your application and it is currently been reviewed.
Kindly watch out for mails from us, on your Loan Contract Agreement Document/ Pre-Approval Letter.
