Type of a scam Employment
The scam was reported to me by someone seeking a job. They stated they received an email from American Careers about job openings at the Nashville airport, and for the candidate to contact them at the phone number listed. When he called, it was an automated line stating he needed to pay a $40 application fee. He contacted us at the airport to make sure he wasn’t getting scammed, which he was. From my understanding, this has happened to him before so he did not provide American Careers with any information.
