Type of a scam Debt Collections

While I was recovering from cancer surgery July, 2019 in Milwaukee, & under the influence of powerful pain meds, the scam started out in 8/2019. A "Ms. Jackson" from "Allegiant Financial" talked me into monthly payments totaling $350.00 to wipe out bad debt they bought from Elder Biermann/BonTon. Auto-pay was set up, using my bank account information. When the last payment was taken out in February, I called her @ 855-591-7245. She told me Alpine Business Solutions, LLC would send me a receipt that the debt is paid in full. I still don’t have verification the debt’s been paid in full. I called Ms. Jackson to complain to her numerous times. Finally, "Rodney Crosby" from "Alpine Business Solutions, LLC" left me a voice message that he mailed a receipt to me.

I called 855-200-6052 & was sent to his voicemail. I left a message numerous times. He did call me back 4/10/20 that he mailed a receipt to me. I called him again 4/20 & said I still don’t have the receipt. He promised to send another one. 4/30 I asked him where he’s sending the receipt & he said he must have misspelled my name. I told him that when he said he mailed it to me, I thought he meant US Postal mail. He said he’d mail it again & I told him twice what my email address is. He said "Magenta Business Solutions, Denver, CO" (no such business, per Google) will report the debt as paid in full to all the credit bureaus. It’s 5/4, I still don’t have a receipt. This is a scam! I’m out $350. Can you please help me? Who did I pay? Did Ireally have a valid debt? I think I was scammed.
