the alumni resource center sent a letter stating that they offer a student loan forgiveness program and that I was eligible for the program. I applied and was told I needed to pay a 1 time fee of 595.00 for the application and processing fee. I paid it after being reassured by the man on the phone that this was not a scam. Turns out it was. I have not heard from anyone and I cannot get into contact with anyone as no one answers or the numbers are disconnected and the email addresses are no longer in service.
