I was hired to do a photo work through www.upwork.com by Mr. Patrick Monte, he sent me an email on 10/19/17 saying he liked my portfolio available on the internet at my site www.alemoraesphoto.com, after sending the contract to work Mr. Patrick Monte sent me a check in the amount of $ 5,300 to discount $ 700 relating to the advance of my work and pay Mr. James who would be responsible to pay third parties, as models, makeup artists, transportation and outfits. On 10/27/2017 I deposited the check in my Bank of The West account and waited to clear it until 10/31/2017, when I returned to Bank of the West the cashier told me that the check was clean and the money was in my account. After confirmation with the Bank, I paid $ 4,600 in cash and paid Mr. James. Today 11/01/2017 the check was returned due to lack of funds. Now I realized that I was the victim of a scam.
