Scammer representing themselves as Medicare Provider calling to alert me I’m eligible to receive newest back brace to relieve pain I have in my low back. They declared they had my medical records indicating I had pain and began asking me questions about my medical condition. When I pretended I didn’t understand why they were calling me about my personal medical records and pressed the caller who had a Spanish accent to give me the name of the company she represented, she hung up. Seconds later I received another call from her "supervisor" who tried once more to get me interested in this free back brace. But when I asked who they represented – government, private company of who else they changed subject to indicate they knew all about my medical condition, my address etc. When I said wasn’t sure whether I needed a prescription before having them send the "free" back brace the caller hung up. But I received another call a few minutes later from the same number.
