Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

This happened to me a few days ago I was in school where I got a text from someone that I thought I knew they were saying to go call or text this number and that I saw your name on a list to a "not yet delivered" and they got this all kinds of money but when when I texted the number it had me fill out this kind of form like my name my phone #, email and other things after it tells me that I’m registered and I have to pay so much money to get money. I then texted the original person and they told me they were hacked.
