Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

I purchased a home and the furnace needed to be inspected. It was the responsibility of the homeowner at the time to get this done. An invoice from this business was submitted after the supposed inspection of the furnace for the sale to go through. No information whatsoever can be found on this business. There is no listed address and no information online. The furnace now does not work after three months of owning the home. I have had several reputable companies come inspect the furnace. They brought up major concerns that they believe should have been brought to our attention.
