Type of a scam Debt Collections

This company called to collect settled debt from seven years ago from my 69 year old mother in law. Spoke over her, rude and threatened her with a judgement against her and a lien on her property in her name. Number one it is illegal to threaten and number two all correspondence for debts owed have to be in writing from a bonded debt collector. Number two…same goes with any lawsuits or judgements….must be written. Number three….she has no property in her name. This scammer is likely also an identity thief since they know so much about their victim. They continue to call an harass with threatening voicemails. I am reporting this here in hopes to help others and i am also contacting my state attorney general to file a complaint.
