Total money lost $700

Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief

I applied online for a debt relief service for my student loans. I was contacted via telephone by Ace Financial Management and was told I qualified for debt relief based on false advertising by my school. I paid them $700 over the course of 3 months, which they deducted directly from my bank account, with the agreement that they would take care of everything within the next year. I have not heard from them since May, and attempted to make contact for an update on my case, and found the email addresses no longer valid, and unable to get through on any of the phone numbers I was given. In the meantime, my student loans are continuing to rise and no action has been taken on my behalf by Ace Financial with the Department of Education.

Type of a scam Debt Collections

I received a letter claiming I owed a large amount of money to Ace Financial Services. The letter only contained an invoice and no explanation as to where the charges came from. The invoice stated an amount of $ 5,400 dollars was past due. I am aware of my finances and I have not purchased anything from here. The invoice provides a p.o instead of an address. There is a number as well. When I called the phone number it just has a message and no one ever picks up. All payments are supposed to be mailed to the P.O Box. Please take the time to look further into this scam.
