my wife responded to a craigs list posting for an admin assistant/data entry position on march25th 2015

the add was for a data entry position posted by [email protected] The job was suppose to be working for abbott labs Chicago Illinois. Working from home, starting training wage offered was $11 per hour, with upgrade to $24 after training. the interview was an on line chat with a christine becky . my wife was offered the position (35 hrs per week, with benefits after training) & was also contacted on live chat by Willam Richie 64 @ yahoo,com(supervisor) On the 2nd day on the live chat she was informed she was to recieve a check for $2400 to purchase material (software) to facilitate her computer to accomplish the job… this threw a red flag up.

I contacted the BBB and obtained Abbott Labs phone # and contacted their H.R. dept. in abbott park ill.,and was told they most likely would not have listed a job posting thru craig list. my wife got back to them and said this sounds to good to be true they broke ooff contact shortly after … we hope this was not a legit job offer but could not get any info from abbott if there actually was a real posting (we were told to check abbot .com global job board. check it out & let me know… *** * *** *** ***
