Type of a scam Identity Theft

Hello,

The job was advertised on craigslist site. I used to work for not long because there were only 2 people in the office. All the blinds in his office were always kept close. The owner said that there were about 50 employees but the business did not make good profit so he reduced to about 15 employees which I did not see as many employees as he claimed to be. The owner claimed to be Ph.D. I saw 1 guy came to his office very often but did not wear work suit. This place claimed to be oil company. There were no oil rig or warehouse where other engineers work, none. This place moved from Long beach location which is now closed. He had all my personal information such as copy of driver license, copy of residency card. Please let someone check this business because I might be scam. The pay stub I did not get from the owner, however he sent it to my email which I do not longer have it.
